The Gold Standard Institute Medallion

The design for our emblem is quite simple and timeless. It is based on a gold coin with a circular design derived from a diagram of the atomic symbol for gold with 79 electrons circling around the nucleus.

The other side of the coin shows the father of Austrian Economics School, Carl Menger. His students and successors continued the work and include people such as Eugen von Böhm-Bawerk, Friedrich von Wieser, Ludwig von Mises, Friedrich von Hayek, Antal E. Fekete and many others.

We are currently working to have the design cast into an actual gold coin which will be offered for sale to supporters of the Gold Standard Institute.

The emblem was created for the Gold Standard Institute by Australian designer, Trinidad James.
